Is there a significant difference in performance between Permanon Platinum and CarPr Hydro2 when used on wheels?

Permanon Platinum is $25.99 for 100ml, dilutes at 50ml per 32oz

CarPro Hydro2 is $19.99 for 100ml, dilutes at 50ml per 5.07oz (3:1)

These differences in dilution ratios make the Permanon Platinum significantly less expensive per application

Permanon Platinum $.41 per oz

CarPro Hydro2 $1.97 per oz

I have never gotten the durability from PP compared to 3+ months from Hydro2. But just looking at the price you could do PP every month and still be fine.

I realize i need to further clarify. Factor in labor and time for regular clients. What is the longevity of Permanon?

If Permanon lasted like a coating (2 years) I would be hooked for life.

Permanon is great for paint, but I didn't have much luck on wheels. Then again, I didn't prep them as well as I did the paint.

From AGO's product description page:

Permanon Platinum is a concentrated solution.
The 500 ml and 1 liter sizes of Permanon Platinum include a 50 ml measuring cup.

For a 5% solution, mix 50 ml (1 ounce) of Permanon Platinum into a spray bottle containing 32 oz. of water.

For a 10% solution, mix 100 ml of Permanon Platinum into a spray bottle containing 32 oz. of water.
When used properly, one 32 oz. bottle of Permanon Platinum at a 5% solution will cover approximately two mid sized sedans.

Just wondering:

Would it make a difference in the calculation of Permanon Platinum's cost per application...versus that of Hydro2's...if:
1 ounce = 29.573 ml?

best way to find out is try them both. Then decide.

Stick to the metric system for dilution ratios. US customary base 12 & 16 math is nothing but trouble when dealing with small/fractional quantities, besides, I only have ten fingers. For those with 9 or fewer fingers, use your toes instead.

So 50ml + 450ml for 10% solution that's close to 16oz. 50ml + 950ml for a 5% solution that is close to 32oz.

And yes, I'm not talking in circles, I was agreeing with Bob's confuzzlement.

I usually don't...
But this time I did. (see below)

50ml + 950ml for a 5% solution that is close to 32oz.
True.

But the caveat is the product's dilution description calls for 50ml, and is inferring that it's equal to 1oz.

Here's where I converted that NO. to metric:

1 ounce = 29.573 ml?

Since price per application was this thread's topic:
I was thinking that using the correct dilution amount would lead to a more prudent usage of the product...Or I would have steered clear of this matter.

Oh dear Bob, my comment was meant to be general, not directed at you. If you have a trick for using US customary for small volumes, then by all means forego the metric system.

Our goal is the same, get the right dilution so the per application price is apples to apples.

Admittedly, I have a much better feel for 0.01 feet and 1mile than I do 1mm and 1 km and I'm better with psi than pascals.

@ t.o.b., :)

My bad: I really didn't take it as being directed at me.

It's true...
I, too, for simplicity's sake:
am seeking the correct dilution integer.
