Getting ready to detial my new Edge tom. Cant wait. Heres my plan of attacK.

Wash with the two bucket grit guard method.
Dry with microfiber
Apply two coats of Black light. Letting cure 30 min in between.
Apply Petes 53 and then wipe off...

How long do I need to wait until I then apply V-7?

Any other tips.
 
Might want cure time most sealant s are 12 hours between coats. But as for the Pete's 53 I bought some few months back and I love it great wax

Your method looks fine. You can apply V7 as soon as you have finished wiping all the wax residue from the final wipe.
 
ok so i should wait 12 hours after doing the blacklight before I do anything else to it?
 
BL is more like a glaze. I've never waited for it to cure, and still have had great results.

you won't be disappointed with that setup....here are pics of ONLY Pete's after 3 weeks, I'm waiting for my full paint correction before applying sealant and then Pete's again....
