Wash: I always start out with wheels first and exterior trim .. Once I’m all finish with the wheels I spray the car down and then load up my CWG in the foam gun and let it dwell on the car for a few minutes and proceed with the two bucket method.

Trunk Before:

Out of all the panels on the car, this had to be the worse and required extra time to correct. There were burn marks from the last detailer, heavy swirling and some wet sanding areas that weren’t properly accessed.

Trunk After: I use three different products to achieve these results. First was SIP with a orange pad at 1500 to 1800 rpm’s, then when the finish was corrected I finished it up with 106ff on a white pad at 1300 rpm’s thenen finally I jeweled the paint at variable speeds with a blue pad and PO85RD.

Taillights Before:

These were also swirled badly, and required attention.

Taillights After:

This was after two passes of 106ff and a white pad.

Again here is another picture of the roof after jewelling process was complete. Lots of clarity and depth in this picture.

And here a few shots of the final product with no sealant or wax and also a little touch up on the exhaust.. The true shine of the car is all in the prep.

how long did this take you? Right now i am working on my own m3 using menzerna SIP, nano, And po85rd. I had to jump m105 because some scratches didnt want to come out. Now im doing m105 on a pfw/ sip on white pad, and nano on blue pad. Petrucci do you think I should use nano on a white/grey pad and use po85rd to jewel the paint?

that's an amazing turn around

Thank you!

Started Saturday and finished the next day.

BMW clear coat is hard.

I used nano on a white pad and it always works wonderfully. I also jeweled the paint with a blue pad and 85rd. Are you using a rotary or PC?

Great Job! nice camera work as well. Is that the Nikon D40 or D60?

Excellent job. Pat yourself on the back on my behalf.

Thank you!

im using a rotary with m105 on pfw sip on white and nano on blue. Does po85rd have more gloss than nano? not according to menzerna chart..

Thank you! Its a D60 with the stock lens.

Excellent job. Pat yourself on the back on my behalf.

Thank you

Not according to the menzerna chart, as in my personal preference? Some people will go straight to 85rd on a white pad after SIP. I used it to jewel the paint after I went SIP-->106ff

Nice job, always have been a fan of M badged BMW's. Car looks great
