Pic Heavy: Trashed interior Job

Whew! Just when I start to think my interior is looking bad from not being wiped down for a month, I see stuff like this and am reminded. My rides aren't bad at all. Props to you for doing it. Super cool of you!

Hard to beleive a person can be that much of a lazy slob....Good grief !
Nice work on Mission Impossible. Hope you don't get some sort of illness by touching that Pig pen...

Thinking the same thing, would not want to see their house.

Understand about the build up, it would take time. Odd thing is their house is not this way, nor was it during the extended hospital stay. Severe form of selective neglect.

They just bought a new van that I want too see if I can get them to protect it, and their Outback will be done early next week as of now.

Great turn around. How exactly did you sanitize your camera after those 50/50 shots? Or did you just throw it away?

Great work, kudos to you on the pay it forward. I'm sure they were appreciative and anyone with a new baby needs all the extra cash they can get. The car will sell much quicker now.

Jesus. This should be a episode of Dirty Jobs. Lol

How long did it take you? Great work, came out really nice.

I totally agree. Sometimes there are more important things in life than a clean car.

The Pope of cleanliness and reflectivity has decided to excommunicate you for that blasphemy.

No more coatings for you!!

Guess around 6 hours work time on all interior including the trunk.

Spent from 11:30 to 8:30 at his house. Worked till about 1PM doing a aggressive exterior wash with a presoak with OPC and 3D 88. Did all jams, including trunk, and quick engine spray and wipe down. Took 1/2 hour to go get some dinner and a good 1/2 hour bs session or two.

Wow bro, way to go on that...

This is my favorite section of AG, I love seeing dudes polish and clean turds.

Hats off to you in both the results and your willingness to use your skills to help a family in need. Even if it was for the new owner I think the previous owner would be less anxious handing off the car with your work done on it.
I think the saving factor was the wet vac and the large number of MF and towels.

That's not 4 months worth normal wear and tear regardless of kids OR the excuse. That's "I live like a pig"

I am not arguing the fact that it's a nasty, neglected interior. It maybe wasn't that bad initially, I don't know the client. Maybe they are pure lazy and don't care, or maybe they planned on doing it but life happened. There is no reason for any of us to let our interiors get that way, obviously, but I'm sure it isn't the worst we've all seen before! My comment wasn't made to be rude, I just feel bad IF that's why they couldn't clean it.

Add this to the trashed list. This is the fathers car of a guy I've done some work for, and was a prescheduled Fathers Day present.

Pre cleaned with OPC and 3D 88 mix with green scrub pad. Then did 320 up through 1500 grit on the drivers side, passengers was 800 and up. Nice big flat light with no crazy contours so compounding/polishing was done with my Rupes Duetto. Optimum Comp II with yellow LC flat pad, Optimum Polish II and white LC flat pad to finish. Opti-Lens to protect.

Nice job. I aways love seeing these kind of turn arounds. You know much better interior products work on cases like these. Nice work man
