Pic Heavy: Trashed interior Job

chalk that up to some impressive work. I'd've probably opened all the doors and let a pressure washer rip through there.

Ha, that and blast some holes through the floorboards for proper drainage like in the Botswana Top Gear episode.

Another heavily trashed Camry post to come soon!

It was dirty, but it doesn't show a lot of wear and tear looks like the owner got a good deal.

Unfortunately, the new owner owns a used car lot, so most likely is taking advantage of a guy in a tough situation to begin with, and will most likely do the same to whomever he sells it to.

And WOW that's a great turnaround! Did you wear PPE? That's just crazy! I'm super jelly :)

There is no excuse for what I just viewed

Exposing children to that level of filth is hazardous to their health

Did this one the other afternoon/evening. Was too dark to finish out the after pics. Wish I could have gotten some of the mats, and better ones of the back seats. The floor is not done in any of the pictures, they have only been pretreated. Process was similar the to last, but with out a rinse extraction on the floors. A little blotting with water and vacuumed up where needed. Mats treated, agitated, hosed, and hit with the shop vac and left out to dry.

Interior only plus jams. About 5-5 1/5 hours. Wanted to do a quick wash also, told her I give her a free one if she can get one of her neighbors to have me do their one of their cars.

Slob ,is he a doctor they are the worst,I commend u for doing that for free I would of lost,my patience doing it for free,or getting paid.

What a great job Mantilgh!

Question:
If you wanted to.
Do you think it is possible to have the interior cleaned to a like new state if time and money were no object?
This if it all came down to cleaning, and not replacing anything.

It would depend on the condition of the materials. Abrasion, sun, and chemicals do damage that cannot be reversed.

You can get them clean though, or really close. Carpets being harder than the others.

There's a spot here that revealed it self. I've looked through the pictures I have and you can kind of see something there. At first it sort of looked like an ink was dissolved there, like a marker had gotten wet. It may be spilled nail polish remover, just linking it to spilled nail polish in the console.

Great job on that trashed interior. I hope you are current with all of your vaccinations.

Did another two trashed ones. One was a company work truck that was moving on to the next guy, and the other was destruction from a mother and her children.

And the Juke with no afters. I was so upset my battery died and could not get any afters. Everything cleaned up really well with just a few traces of stains here and there.

The only before and after that I was as to get. This is just a section of the rear headliner. This is the worst liner I have seen yet. Juice stains everywhere and where there wasn't juice, there was dirt and grease.

Are people in central Maryland that disgusting, Mantilgh? You seem to get some pretty vile stuff. Who'd even want to sit down on those seats?

Haha, yep!

By the time i was done I had forgoten how bad that last interior was untill I got home and looked at the pics.

Omg, that is riding dirty lol. What a pig pen. Oh well, guess we don't want everyone to keep clean cars. What a sense of accomplishment seeing that after and the owners are usually very pleased.

Great work and glad the little child is better now - that's far more important. i would say that the interior of this car is the worst I have ever seen, and potentially a heath risk to all who ride in it. Hopefully your friend is very thankful he has you and keeps his next car in better condition. Even taking this to the local car wash once a month for an automatic wash and vacumm would done worlds to prevent this.

Good work fellow forum member.

Wow, this is the worst I've seen yet!!!

Everywhere was considered a trash can. Any pocket, cup holder, floor space, or door pull was filled with a mix of something.

This was a "seats only" job, by request of the customer. More was definitely needed, but she did not want to pay to have any more done! ??? I was able to get more than the seats done in the time frame I gave myself.

Seats were cleaned, most all interior vinyl surfaces were cleaned, center console was cleaned, and floor vacuumed with no agitation. And a bonus; I fixed(lubed) her hood latch and the hood catch which were both totally frozen(dead batterie).

The floor was "detrashed" by the customer in the first picture. She was not going to do it, and told me not to do it, but I convinced her to. The thash back there was almost up to the bottom of the back seat.
