Pick a tire dressing...

 Well that was weird. Had it up to 65. Passenger side NO SLING. Driverside very small pinhead splatter marks. You really had to look to see them on the dark paint. But the side glass you could see them. SO.......Guess its a 50% pass. LOL

Still may look into the TW ENDURASHINE COATING in the future. Been hearing rants and raves about it. :buffing:

You may have needed to dab/wipe them down after application. I always do this during my final wipe down of the car. I never second guess anything that can cause a clean detail to become messed up.

Are you cleaning in between the channels of the outer tread? That's probably where the sling is coming from.

I tuff shine mine every 6-10 months. It's nice being able to skip scrubbing and dressing tires every wash

My final thoughts on VRP. I do like the look and the fact its water based and more of a lotion that dries on contact. I think it applies perfect with a round foam pad, then a final wipe with a MF towel. I will pay attention to the outer treads. The thought of using a black dye (tw coating) is just not for me. (And i have nothing against for thoes that praise the product) VRP is really a different product and i think a good one if i give it a chance.

Don't rule out the TW coating. It's a very good product.

Since you are also a DP user, this weeks VIP special is the DP tire coating and cleaner in a kit for a good price.

I choose option 3, Perl! Lol

When using a gel or spray type of dressing, i was using my leaf blower at a distance but now use the DP blower to get the surplus dressing out of the nooks n crannies. Then I can give the wheel wells a final wipe down.Im the MAN

UPDATE. I am going to have to call this stuff LEGIT. I made sure sunday it was well leveled with a MF towel. After my 25 mile ride to work, i got out and could not see splats or slings. The above picture is this morning. After a heavy steady down pour on the way home last night. As you can see, impressive for a WB product. As with any product, i would say a thin application of VRP with a foam or MF applicator (Still debating which one is best) let it sit and do FINAL WIPE DOWN on the tires.

Shortly i will be beta testing BLACKFIRE AIO TIRE AND TRIM PROTECTANT. To get a comparison between the two. Read its also fantastic on tires and zero chance of sling.

Really glad you like it.
My go to since its introduction ...

Final wipe down is the key. Whenever they begin to look dull; just wipe them with a MF and they'll look like you just dressed them all over again.

The round foam pads do a good job, but shread after a few applications. I will be switching to a MF block applicator for future applications.
