Well, here's some pics from this weekends activities = "The Woodward Dream Cruise". 16 miles of crusing on the nations 1st paved road in no other place than the MotorCity..

An Excerpt about the Dream Cruise

"Woodward Avenue from Ferndale to Pontiac is lined on both sides with magnificent classic and custom automobiles. It's a 16-mile long car show that is educational, historic and fun for all ages. There is no charge to attend the Woodward Dream Cruise. The Woodward Dream Cruise is the world's largest one-day celebration of car culture that attracts over 1.7 million visitors, and more than 40,000 muscle cars, street rods, custom, collector and special interest vehicles."

Ok, on to the pics, I'm starting with my favorite which is the black Ford wagon with wood trim on the exterior, then a really acurate Back to the Future replica. After the back to the future car I saw the "batmobile" I saw it a little late to get a good pic but it is after the Back to the Future car.

After that you'll see a Boss Hog look alike car with the same sounding horn and all.

Then a cool Detriot beater and just a bunch of awesome cars after that.

I hope you all enjoy and maybe even plan to come out next year!

Awesome man hopefully one day I'll attend the Woodward dream cruise. My fav is the 71' Hemi Super Bee *drools*

those are some sweet cars. I like that chopped truck, almost looks fake.

My mom use to live off of 13 mile and Woodward (well three streets back at Harvard) and I spent three late summers at the Woodward Dream Cruise. It is amazing to see what it became, and how all the manufacturers flock to it to show their wares. It was once only a one day show and now is a weekend of fun and times past.

For those that dont know, when American Manufacturers first built the prototypes, Woodward Avenue was used to test, tune, and show them off. Hot one off's, and initial releases were seen here long before production.

I from the Detroit area and have been to a couple of the Woodward cruises. It's like a big weekend party now.

Wow! Very impressive show, so many nice vehicles. The one that caught my eye the most was the time machine, I love Back to the Future. I thought I saw a "Donk" car (car with HUGE wheels, almost Monster truck size), but then the wheels aren't big enough to be a "Donk" :p.
