I flew out to KS from MN last week to take delivery of my new 2012 TSX SE, 6spd in Bellanova White Pearl and then drove her back the 455 miles to MN.

I must say this has been the best new car experience I've had and the dealer was awesome! Car was unmolested and 100% defect free when I arrived and was sitting inside for me to inspect. No detailing had been done other than a touch-less wash and tire glossing.

On the drive back, in the middle of BFE Iowa, I noticed I still had over a half tank of gas at the 300 mile mark (car had 12 miles on it when I left) with plenty of gas left to make it the whole way! 34mpg is what I ended up getting averaging 75mph! Not bad at all! :props:

Car was covered in bugs when I got home so she got a bath the next morning and I started prepping it for Opti-Guard

Sweet my favorite color! Congrats again.

I have a Crystal Black Pearl V6 TSX... I took I trip to FL and I average 30mpg from a 3.5lt V6.... Just amazes me.

My dad has a 2010 TL (which has the same 3.5 V6 as the TSX V6) and he claims he often gets 29 mpg when driving on the highway. I get about the same in my RSX Type-S. I love Honda's, I dont think mechanically there is a better car made.

Got a Honda civic si 02 and I manage about 32 mpg. Surprised you didn't tape it up for the drive home. 6 speeds are so rare TSX's and TL's drools

Congrats. Interesting to see what a pro uses on his own car. You love those Hondas.

Nice looking car Rasky! Congratulations and have fun with it!

Great looking car. So awesome to have such a clean slate to start the protection off right!

Congratulations Chad! Great news to find it unmolested eh! Cool pedals btw

Congrats Chad! I seriously considered going for a white car this time.

very nice man, thankfully you're one of the few who will still buy a new car with a manual....save the manuals!.

That is a sweet looking car! Way to get that 3 pedal configuration as well.

Thanks Guys! :thankyousign:

I had been driving around an old beat up '92 Prelude with an auto and 200,000 miles for about 3 weeks leading up to the purchase, its crazy how much you miss all those bells and whistles....not that the Luda is a bad car...just saying. ;) I'm guna keep the Luda around for a beater to use on poor weather days. :)
