This is my 2013 Scion tC right after a wash and another coat of Menzerna Power Lock. I sealed the wheels with 3M Performance Finish. Not the best pics, either. I need to get a good camera...

Convgrats on the new ride, looks good in silver and really like what they've done with those wheels too, nice! Not a big fan of the primer color that looks like its been cleared though.

Any mods planned for it?

Ah, Cement Gray is the color you speak of, lol. It's unique... I'll give it that. I did want the Magnetic Gray, but it wasn't in stock. The silver looked much better in person. Plus the dealer was giving me $8,000 for my trade-in, so I kinda got antsy.

No mods other than an OEM rear spoiler and window tint... that's as extreme as I get.

Maybe paint the calipers either red or black. The wheels draw plenty of attention to not notice the calipers as they are now, but I kinda want to clean up the look of the calipers. I'm thinking black, but I can't resist a set of red calipers.

When I had my 2007 Mazda3, it was Galaxy Grey, not the darkest grey, but the MPL made the paint almost glow. I did polish the paint on that car to near perfection, though. Near perfect to me, anyway.

The silver on the tC looks pretty good. Part of me thinks it could undergo a nice machine polish just to make the paint pop, but the paint itself is pretty flawless, just a few very light clear coat scratches on the hood, but since the light color really masks them day or night, I think I'll just keep them a secret, lol. My slight OCD keeps saying, "They're still there... they're still there..." :laughing:

Yeah, I knew that was coming, lol. I actually considered a manual, but that's one thing I really didn't want to hassle with. I've never driven a manual before, I've heard it's easy, there's nothing to it, but I just wanted to stick with what I know. I'm still a car enthusiast more or less. :cruisin:

Congrats on the new car. Mine is silver also very forgiving as not to show dirt or scratches not that mine is very oftern dirty or scratched. It'skind of salty now becasue I'm not allowed to bend over or climb up to the roof. Antother week and I'm good to go. Damn hernia operation.

Yeah, the silver is new to me. To be honest, some silver cars look ugly, some look great. The tC is one that looks good in silver. It's pretty much pollen season here in Florida, so no matter what color car you have, it'll soon be green 5 minutes after a full detail, lol. Then the rainy season comes, which means I'll wash my car and it'll rain before, during or after and my car will never stay clean. I enjoy the fall and "winter" months because it hardly rains and the air seems cleaner, which means a cleaner car for a longer time, lol.
