This is the only pic I have right now of my garage, and it is about a year old.

Taken standing in the third bay facing the work bay (where my orange truck is). The work bay is the largest with plenty of room for open doors and still get around it. It is actually big enough for my dad to work on his 4-door LWB dually in it.

The 442 belongs to a buddy of mine. We were getting ready for a show the next day.

You cheated! This looks more like my house and it's your garage? I need a new job.

Here are some photos of mine

1st pic items I store inside (kitchen cabinet :xyxthumbs:)

2nd pic are misc towels and a few cleaners i use regularly

3rd pic are my drying microfibers and polishing pads

Just getting started with the serious detailing so my stash is picking up steam. I just got a new lens to try out and I just cleaned the garage this week so I felt like taking a few pictures.

I started getting into detailing about a year ago, and started with Mothers products. I am now branching out into some other favorites on this site, and figuring out what works best for me. WG DG Sealant 3.0 is amazing stuff.

Bobby, what size kompressor pads are those and do you like them more than any other pad? Also, which polisher do you like best of the three you have and why? Thanks.

This is my shop, I don't have many good pictures cause their is always something in there, but I have enough room, I just started putting in a new electric service to run my compressor and welder. The detailing area is the section infront of the cabinet, its also the wet sanding area

Well we can certainly tell you don't like S-series trucks very well!

I use 6" Kompressor pads on only my Makita rotary. Because these pads have a slotted pad face it allows the pad to conform to the shape of the body panel, thereby providing maximum surface contact. I think it also helps with putting more product where I need it. Could I use them on my Flex, sure and I have but I like their performance on the rotary best.

Which one I like best... That's like asking which of my children I love the most!

The Makita rotary in my opinion is the best out there. The rpm range starts at 600 and has the slow start feature. The unit is very rugged and well balanced and a joy to work with. Keep im mind that I started using rotary polishers long before DA units were even thought of.

The Flex is quite a unit and can do everything the Makita is capable of but at a little slower pace. without a doubt it's the BEST, most powerful DA polisher on the market today.

The Porter Cable 7424 is a great unit as well but is no where near as powerful as the other two. I use this now solely for applying glazes, sealants, and waxes.

If I HAD to choose just one it would be the Flex 3401.

Here is my collection. I may have a problem... this is just for my cars....

Wow! How do you decide what to use when?:buffing:nice organized setup...I like the drawers between the shelves.:props:

Its difficult at times. But I'm never left thinking "If only I had -----".. well almost never. There is always room for those good deals AG keeps throwing out! I can't help it!

The drawers were my girlfriends idea actually. They work well!

Just posted a pic of my "Stuff" on another thread. Saw this one a while ago but didn't remember where. Here it is now in it's rightful place on the Forum.:D
