For the Ford we're going to do a 4-step process

  1. Compound
  2. Polish
  3. Chemically strip
  4. BLACKFIRE Ceramic Paint Coating

For the Pontiac we're going to do a 1-step process using BLACKFIRE One Step

Class just ended...

After compounding and polishing the Ford F150 I went over how to chemically strip the paint using both BLACKFIRE Paint Prep and BLACKFIRE Pro Primer Polish.

I turned the class loose to try out both styles of chemical stripping, spray on, lotion style. Then it was time to apply the coating. After a demo on correct technique I let the class finish the truck.

Thank you everyone for joining us here at Autogeek!

:)

Thanks for the class Mike. We even had people from outside the country show up for this one. I'll be there for the next one, too.

Great class thank you for having it. Great to live in Stuart!

Mike just wanted to say thank you to you and autogeek for putting these events on. This has been the 3rd Wednesday night open class I've attended and there's just a wealth of information each time. Frank is always a huge help as well and hopefully hell be able to make the trip down for a few of these still. Being able to test out and learn how to use the products on real cars is such a huge benefit and not sure there's anywhere else that gives people this kind of opportunity. Thanks again and I look forward to the next one.

Franks work truck will be a good test for the BF coating. Mike, thanks for teaching another great class.
John

Great turn out, not many can fill a class consistently like you do. Good job. Mike.

***Update***

I just added ALL the pictures to the first page of this thread.

Had a zillion things to do yesterday, (day after the class), and today, so just now getting them processed, uploaded and inserted.

Now it's time to go outside and wash a Maserati. <--Stay tuned...

:)

Got some rain on the truck today.

Sonax Polymer Net Shield was applied to the plastic pieces of the truck.

Wow! Look at the freaking water beading on the plastic trim! And the paint!

Thanks for sharing Frank!

:bump:

Would like to say thank you to Frank and D.J. Auto One Detailing in Mississauga, Ontario Canada for having this poster made and sending it to me.

They original made this and gave it to me at the 2019 SEMA show. It somehow was packed into the SONAX shipment and no one has seen it since. :(

So Frank and DJ has a second poster made and shipped it directly to me.

Thank you so much! I've placed it under some flat paint panels with some weight on them and once she flattens out, (it was shipped in a poster tube), I'll get it framed for my office.
