Pictures from Ace Cafe in Orlando - Saturday, March 31st
On Saturday, March 31st, Bobby, Yancy and I travelled from Stuart, Florida to Orlando, Florida to hold a Tech Session on machine polishing at the Ace Café in Orlando. The Tech Session went great and then the rest of the day we all manned the Autogeek Booth and did demos and answered questions.
I took a few pictures of some of the cars at the show, check em out...
This is not an actual tractor but a custom fabricated streetrod that looks like a John Deere Tractor. People at the show told me it looks wild going down the freeway passing cars.
That my friends is a Big Block Chevy engine....
This rat rod hauler was incredibly tricked out....
Time Capsule 1939 Ford Deluxe Coupe
Super sweet Vdub
Ford Falcon Gasser
Gassers are a specific style of 1/4 mile race cars that include removing the very heavy front suspensions and replacing them with lightweight straight axels and this is why they have the "stance" that sets them off as Gassers, and that is the front of the car sits higher than normal and even higher than the rear of the car. You can also see the leaf springs that attach the straight axel to the frame.
Fender headers are also typical of Gassers....
Cool surfing wagon...
This is either a 1949 or 1950 Ford Club Coupe, very simple body lines...
This was my favorite, this is a 1931 Ford Model A Extra Cab that someone turned into a 4x4
Studebaker Pickup
1931 or 1932 Ford 5-Window Couple - very high end build...
Vega Stationwagon
Here's another Ford 5-Window Coupe. What sets this one apart is the engine, which is a 331 Hemi
Good stuff...
