Car enthusiasts start showing up from all over Florida in the early morning to get a good place to park plus some hot (or Iced!) coffee and fresh warm pastries!
This month's turnout was great as over 200 cars braved Florida's summer heat to enjoy time with fellow automotive enthusiasts.
Autogeek owner Bob McKee kicked off morning events in the Show Car Garage by making a couple of HUGE announcements.
First he announced that Mike's show, Competition Ready has been confirmed for a second season! The second season will have a run anywhere between 8 and 12 more episodes! As last year, we will have be filming an episode at our DetailFest and another will be filmed at the LA Classic Auto Show - A new event in LA that Autogeek will be the title sponsor for.
In addition, Bob also announced that next year's 12 annual Detailfest will be moving to the Air-Conditioned West Palm Beach Convention Center for 2017. This move comes as our front lot will soon be another building and also as we have outgrown space available here at our headquarters. Stay tuned for more details on next year's DetailFest.
After these huge announcements, Cristy Lee joined us over Skype. Mike gave Crysti a brief interview and filled the crowd in on what she has been up to. She also showed us around her garage (she has a LOT of bikes) and answered several questions from the audience. She also confirmed she'll be back at net year's DetailFest.
