My truck's hood is faded pretty bad, and has a lot of chips in it.

I washed, and then used the clay on the hood. There are little Pine sap drops all over it, and the clay did very little.

I used a light cut pad on my DWP849X with Meguiaer's 80 speed glaze, and it didn't remove the Pine sap.

Don't have a black heavy cut pad yet, so I am going to wet sand it.

What grit sand paper, and I guess I may need a more aggressive pad to remove the sandpaper marks?

Thanks,
Robert

What clay do you have? Clay should definitely be able to remove it, maybe you need more aggressive or a higher quality clay?

Wetsanding seems kind of harsh to get rid of pine sap. Wetsanding is when you want serious paint correction.

Meguaire's clay.

I took a razor blade, and it cut it but left a a small bit. This stuff is baked on, but good.

This is a 1989 truck that I have used off road, and never waxed.

Thanks,
Robert

Stoner Tarminator will disolve it. Spray it on and agitate it with your finger in a micofiber cloth. Should come off.
