I currently have a bottle of Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish, I was able to achieve a awesome result with it but I really want to compare it to SF 4500. I haven't been able to find anything at all that compares these two polishes.

Is it safe to assume this product is similar to SF4000?

I haven't used advanced finish polish much. Only on the 2 cars we did in Kentucky. Even then it's hard to say since both cars finished up just about lsp ready after advanced swirl remover.

But how the product worked for me seemed very similar to sf4000 using a flex and Porter cable with white pads. The finish using asw and afp gave me the exact same results with the same effort I would have expected using pf2500 and sf4000.

I hope this helps with what you are looking for.

Also to add I typically only use sf4500 on black vehicles with clear on the softer side or vehicles that the owner is looking for every last bit of shine and clarity they can get. My standard go to is sf4000 for all of my finish polishing.

Opposite situation here - love SF4500, haven't used Pinnacle AFP. I typically use it on dark finishes, and it adds a serious level of pop as a second or third correction step. I typically follow FG400, or M105\D300 and M205 with it.

I never heard if AFP works as well as SF4500 on Ceramiclear but suffice to say SF4500 handles this paint type well.
