New to using Pinnacle products and I was wondering if S II can be used over other brand polishes( Megs,etc)? Or could there be negative effects? Thanks...
Added: As a topcoat over say M #205 or Swirl X ?

Do you mean other sealants and waxes? SSII would in no way affect a polish(swirl remover?)
 
About the only negative affect I can think of would be that it might accentuate a bad polishing job.:D

Just to clarify, an abrasive polish (like M205 and swirlx) isn't really "applied" then coated with wax. A polish is "worked" to abrade the surface, then completely removed. Like sandpaper, you wouldn't leave the paper on the surface when your done sanding.

So no, it does not matter. What does matter is that you do a good and thorough job polishing before applying your wax, regardless of what brand any of the products are. :xyxthumbs:
 
Thanks for the info all!! I am gonna try it on my 02 Sonoma as soon as the weather agrees! Looking forward to playing...and no poor polishing jobs ;) LOL
 
I used Pinnacle Signature series II recently for a how-to article, worked great, owner loved the results...
