I figured I would post a review since this is the first complete jar of wax I have finished! This Pinnacle Sig. Series II wax was in my first ever order from Autogeek.

Smell/Appearance: This wax smells amazing first off. Its a tropical scent that makes you want to eat it rather than use it on cars haha. Its also a nice shade of yellow, and is a smooth matte texture.

Application: one of the easier waxes out there to apply and remove. One of the things I have had to struggle with on my car (black, single stage paint) is ghosting. Most if not all products regardless of my application technique leave ghosting that requires hard buffing to remove. Not Pinnacle.

Protection: I get about 3 weeks out of it on my car, which is garaged and rarely if ever driven in the rain. But until it is completely gone, it has some of the best beading Ive seen yet and I have quite a large collection of waxes.

The Results: I have used it on alot of different cars but I didnt want to barrage everyone with 3 pages of pictures haha.

Great wax on metallic paints, cars look great with clear reflective images.

you should see longer protection with SSII .... use the Pinnacle Soap and their sprays (CM or SSW) as needed to increase durability.

Thats the thing, I never need to wash my car since it only really gets dusty. I use anything from crystal mist to UQD to Gl0ss it gloss enhancer. But other than that, I consider the beading as a durability indicator, and if its not beading perfect then reapply!

SSII is a great looking wax, just another that lacks durability.

Even though you say your car never needs washing. I would spray it off every now and then. The QD's and dust can cause marring and scratches! Also rids, like I have read here!
I'm only speaking from my own experienc with my on vehicle.

Its a great wax, but killer is right you should be getting more time out of it. And I agree you need to wash, especially on a black car, Black cars and dust and a QD do not mix well!

Is that a sweedish car? Looks like a Saab or Volvo, both of which I love.

Awesome pics.

You should really do a traditional wash at least once a month to decrease the chance of marring the paint.

haha, well I wash it every once in a while. I get stuck out in the rain once or twice a month which is when I wash it. I rarely have issues with marring, but I take one swipe and turn the towel using little pressure. Ive been washing it every week for the past two months because the car gets nailed with these clear little sap dots no matter where I go that quick detailers dont touch.

Its a 1996 Saab 900se vert, single stage black paint (soft as heck!)
