Hey guys I ordered some Souveran last week and with the blast that rolled in has been significantly delayed ... Not a big deal but its been sitting in a trailer in Dallas in below freezing temps for about 5 days! Obviously we all know this is not a good thing!
What will be some of the signs this product has gone bad?

Thanks!

It's hard to say. If indeed the product is bad due to being frozen, it may be covered by insurance? Not quite sure how that would work, seeing as it would have been in the hands of UPS when the product was introduced to the extreme cold condition.

I've left all my products in below freezing weather for about 2 days (exhaustion kept me from bringing them in) and I had no issues...... I shook everything really well before using again and nothing seemed to have quality differences. Actually I did have one issue - my aerosol tire and trim shine sprayed really funky, but all polishes compounds etc were fine. Test it out - think you'll be fine though.

I would think this wouldn't be an issue with a paste wax.

Last year AG had a bunch of frozen Fuzion..other then it being cracked, it was fine.

I would agree with this. Freezing temps will affect liquid products that separate. Paste waxes won't have separation problems.

Souveran offers a pretty airtight canister .. bet it will be fine !

If you're worried about it, send it to me for testing.

Is it Liquid Souvern or the paste?

The liquid version may have separated and "could" be problematic. Warm it to room temperature or higher and shake to re-blend the chemicals.

What I've found with some Meguiar's liquids is they'll tolerate a freezing or two but log term or repeated freezing will ruin them in time. I've had this happen and had to throw them in the trash...

The paste should be unaffected for the most part.

If in doubt contact Autogeek as it's one of their brand name products.
