How odd that this thread should jump to the top again.
I just gave the car its first wash since I applied the waxes. By my count it has been more than eight weeks and that is good durability for any wax. The car has been through the snow and the slush and the rain. It has been in below zero temperatures and above 80 degree temperatures. I've scraped the windows and I've brushed the snow. I don't know how much more I could have put this car through in the time since application.
My findings are that the Fuzion still beads like the first day it was applied. The Souveran still beads, but it is sheeting in some places on the doors. Visually it is really hard to see any difference between the two sides at this point, but I can say that the Fuzion is demonstrating more staying power.
Both waxes did well in initial dust attraction tests. Neither side of the car seemed to be particularly covered in dust. Then the first rain fell and I ran out to see the results. The Souveran side was totally speckled and the Fuzion side seemed to barely be touched! The Fuzion seems to have similar rinse clean abilities as S100 has. It is definitely a good choice for a wax if you are looking for something like that.
Neither side seemed to be better or worse than the other when it came to overall dirtiness. They both got just as dirty over the past several weeks. So neither one is going to keep your car cleaner over the long run, but for those times where a little rain shower can destroy the perfect looks of your freshly waxed car, Fuzion seems to be a great choice.
Considering that it is basically the same cost as Souveran if you think about getting two jars for the price, I would definitely recommend Fuzion. I was kind of on the fence about it thinking that it was a really expensive wax that better have some really spectacular results, but based on my experience I'd say it is worth the price. Definitely one of the few waxes I can say that about, but Pinnacle and Wolfgang haven't steered me wrong yet, so if you have the funds then I say GO FOR IT! You won't regret it!
