My sizzling shine kit is being delivered today. Shampoo, lotion and paste wax.
I would like to know if anyone would recommened using Megs#21 sealant after the shampoo and lotion and before souveran wax. Or is this over kill?
thx in advance.

I dont know if souveran will bond to megs waxes, as they usualy contain silicone which i think interfears with bonding. but in any case you should wait about 8hrs before adding another coat of wax, because wax needs time to fully cure.

Isn't meg's 21 a sealant? I don't think any wax has a problem bonding to a sealant.

Carnauba waxes (ie - souveran included) don't have bonding issues. Sealants are the ones that need a clean surface.

Apply #21, wait 12-24 hours, apply Souveran. Should look incredible!

Find someone who has used the megs sealant W/ Souveran.
Or, give it a try yourself. If it doesnt work, try Wolfgang.
Most nubas will bond with any sealant. But, I havent used Megs#21.
And it sounds like no one that has posted so far has eather. (well, maybe mshu 7, sorry did not see his post)
Using a sealant W/ nuba is a great way to step up your protection factor.
Def. not overkill.

I am pretty sure silicone oils dont make for a good bonding surface

I think you are getting your sealants and waxes confused. Sealants are the ones with bonding issues and cure times.

I dont think i am, from what i know both sealants and waxes need curing time and they both do not like to bond to sillicone oil.

I am just after the deep wet look...If Megs #21 will not help accomplish the look I will leave this step out.

Nevermind, just keep doing whatever works for you then.

If you're not interested in the durability of a sealant (Megs #21) and just want added depth and wetness, try a glaze like Megs #7 or ClearKote's RMG.

Clearkote Red Moose and Souveran Paste .... now thats wet !
