Morning,

I'm almost finished claying my 04 Goat and I will start with the XMT line shortly. I want to 'layer' Soveran paste after polishing ( XMT Light swirl, ultra light swirl, glaze, soveran ) but I hear rumour from another board that I must wait 12 to 24 hours between coats. I didn't think that was the case since Soveran is a carnuaba, but I'm not sure.

Thx for the help

Souveran is a wax, not a sealant. You can immediately go from a polish to a wax or sealant, but then must allow time for curing. Since we are use Souveran, one coat is all that is really needed. From there you could top with the original Crystal Mist as wanted or the new Souveran Spray Wax. No need to wait ....

As scott mentioned, no cure. It's also WOWO and not to let haze. Something I didn't know until I got my tins.

I've heard most carnauba's should cure for about an hour, but I dont believe it's all that necessary.

Just use a little spray wax or a good quick detailer in between

i would be afraid to wait an hour between coats do to crap in the air falling on to the paint. unless your in a garage:p
