Toyota Tundra 4x4 came in for our gloss enhancement package plus Wetsanding plus polishing on the bed cover.
This belongs to a good friend of ours which he also happens to be a firefighter.
The main problem was his bedcover. He bought this truck used and the bed cover paint wise was already fading away badly. I know these parts are painted poorly so he wasn't looking to spend 1K to have it repainted so I told him, let's see what I can do.
After measuring the paint, somehow there was still paint left under that nastiness. About 3mils.
I started with 2000/3000 ame then I didn't want to go to aggressive on the compound so I picked something that really does what it says, HD Adapt.
a quick 50/50 after initial test spot performed.

Finished product.

Now since he is a friend and I still had a bit of coating left, I used eraser to remove all the oils from the polish and prepped for coating with Finest. We have saved things like this and where we had applied Finest has worked and worked out perfectly with some test subjects holding strong for over 6+ months.
