Does anyone know how to remove dried pipe thread paste from leather?

Some of that stuff is worse than others. Do you have the tube/container? Usually they will tell you what to use for cleanup, I'm going to suggest mineral spirits, not sure what that's going to do to the coating on the leather.

I don't have the tube, it's for a work truck. I'll try the mineral spirits, I searched online afterwards and the two suggestions were motor oil and wd40.

I would try cutrus sticker remover. It should not remove die from leather and damage it. But be careful with enything you use. Try a tiny test spot.
My first approach would be a damp rag soaked with dish detergent to soften it up and go from there.
Good luck and keep us posted

What kind of leather? Car seats?
I know it will come off my work boots with mink oil and a utility microfiber.

Just car leather. It's a 2009-13 denali (don't know the year, just know it's not an 08, cause its a hair different than mine)
