placing first order ever

when asking a question like this i know myself and most other forum members will ask first -- what are your goals, what kind of vehicles, what condition is the paint, how often do you plan to use it ECT. these are all important questions that need to be answered before we can give you our educated opinion.

I plan on only using the machine for my own vehicles,(Red 2007 Chevy crew cab like pic in my avitar)and my wifes (Red 2007 Mazda3). The Chevy's paint is in good shape with very minor swirls, the Mazda on the other hand was washed improperly by the dealer and has what i consider heavy swirls and some bad brush scratches on the trunk, roof and hood. The brush marks are very more noticable under flourecent lights in my garage. I figured that I would start with the UDM and upgrade as I get more comfortable. I am also looking into getting some 4inch pads for more problem areas.

IMO the kit you are considering is a nice kit,but I do not think it's for the weekend warrior. That's quite a bit of product for two vehicles. It's not something that you will do everyday or even once a week. Once you get the finishes the way you want them you will not be using the polishes as much. Do some research first on the products and equipment you're thinking of buying. Ask more questions on this site,
they're a great bunch of people ,who can steer you in the right direction!
