Plastic headlight cleaning

There's a guy I work with who has a 2004 Crossfire with dull headlight covers. They are the factory unit and Chrysler told him it would cost $500+ per light assembly to replace. Is there a good product he could use to clear them up. He tried some Turtle Wax liquid clay and it didn't help. I cleaned his car about two months ago using Klasse AIO,PB EX-P and 2 coats of RT66 Hot Rod Wet Wax. Now he's got the detailing bug and would really like to clean up his headlight covers without breaking the bank. Any suggestions I can pass along? Feed back please

I just did a crossfire a few weeks back. I use the 3M headlight restoration kit, worked good. I have since ordered the disk separately from the kits. I've only did about 6 vehicles in the past year, all using 3M disks that come in the kit. I finish just use Meg 205, orange pad for polishing, then finish them with Meg 105 and white pad. This works for me. I put a coat of sealer on the lens when done.

Thank you everyone for the input I was asking him this afternoon if he had ordered the 3M kit yet and he said no but he should get on it. I agreed with him by letting him know that those lenses aren't getting any better.
