Please Evaluate My Exterior Detail Plan Steps

Here are my proposed steps. I'm open to ANY changes you as experts feel is needed.


  1. Foam Gun with CG Clean Slate or other wax stripping soap and allow to dwell.
  2. Rinse off with pressure washer.
  3. Foam Gun with CG Clean Slate or other wax stripping soap.
  4. Hand Wash.
  5. Rinse off with pressure washer.
  6. Chemical Decontamination with Iron X or equivalent.
  7. Rinse off with pressure washer.
  8. Clay bar with lubricant.
  9. Paint correction and polish.
  10. IPA wipe down.
  11. Apply Sealant
  12. 12 hours later, second coat of sealant.
  13. 12 hours later top with a carnuba wax.
 
Sounds like a great plan to me.

Looks good. I’d suggest the Mckees coating prep wash over the CG clean slate. Works much better.
