Hello my Autogeek Family. :xyxthumbs:

Please, for those who remember me, forgive my recent absence here on the Forum - the elastic was at full stretch for quite some time.

I’m gonna run you guys through what’s been going on down here in little ol’ New Zealand .... well, with us at least anyway. I’ll chuck a few pictures in here & there for those that enjoy some pictures with the story.

So, since my last proper post, which I believe was about the results of the Charity Raffle we were holding (this thread - https://www.autogeekonline.net/foru...ewing-but-we-raised-some-cash.html?highlight= ) & then Ange & I holding our Detailing Class (this thread - https://www.autogeekonline.net/foru...73-detailing-class-down-under.html?highlight= )
We had been playing catch up & settling back in to the normal organised chaos.
That was the plan anyhow. :xyxthumbs:

They were a couple of pictures from the Annual Kaikoura Hop which was on the 15th of September, & I gotta say - the venue is first class, what do you think?? :props:

Then only a few weeks after the Hop it was time to go further South to Christchurch for the Annual NZ Detailers Conference from the 5th to the 7th of October. Being that I am one of the senior citizens of detailing in NZ & playing a small part in the organisation of the conference saw us get down to Chch early on the Friday the 4th to aid with set up & discuss subjects & set moderation tasks etc.
Being self employed & away from the shop for three working days hurt the bank balance a little but in terms of what we are achieving & striving to achieve for the industry in NZ, well a few dollars less in the bank isn’t such a big deal.

We had some valuable “round table” discussions, some fun activities, meals, & a full day of training with Jason Rose before the weekend was up. :xyxthumbs:

I’m gonna put a couple of pictures in here from our road trip South to Christchurch because it really is a great little 4 hour drive & it may entice you guys to come down & visit . . . :props: Don, that’s aimed at you buddy. :dblthumb2:

We tend to take this beauty for granted but sometimes you really realise how cool it is. :props:

So here we are, a couple of weeks later & the chaotic normal has settled down & returned. The shop is super busy & going well & now we are counting (very rapidly) down the days until our trip back to the mighty USA. Only 62 sleeps away now & that’s flying bye.

I’m looking forward to an actual family holiday & pretty excited about catching up with Mike & invading Autogeek when we are in Stuart. Hopefully we can meet a few other good AGO Forum friends along the way too. I’ll have to check in with Mike Phillips first but I think there is a possibility of a Forum member gathering in the Autogeek Show Car Garage where we get to do some detailing & hang out some. Stay tuned for that. :buffing:

Right, I’ll leave that here & because the Weather is warming up here in NZ - I’m gonna go fire up the BBQ for dinner. Thank you all for stopping by & checking in. :props:

Final pictures of a quick walk up the hill this morning .... this is my home town, Blenheim, right here at the top of the South Island of New Zealand.

You gotta stop teasing with all these great pictures. I just may have to tell the wife that I’m going to be gone for a few days and head out your way.

Been following along on Facebook. Glad to see you staying busy. What beautiful scenery there!

Haven't been posting much here myself as I have been going nonstop.
