I would like to hear opinions on which Waffle Weave is the safest(in terms of minimizing scratching) to use to dry the car using the blotting technique, Thank you!

I had just purchased the Guzzler HD and its great soaks up the water and holds lots of water.

A lot of times I'll use a bunch of small ones (AG glass towel & MF Tech). So, I can frequently change one out for a clean one. I also use a Guzzler and have 4 Sonax Der Wunder. The Guzzler is softer, but I haven't noticed any of them scratching. I have noticed the cloth style edges will pick up any and every stray fibre in the washing machine.

Adam's great white works well for me

I have plenty of guzzlers and some sonus waffle weaves . is it not the contruction of these towels , waffle weave to soak and hold more water? more than a super purple plush or even a gold plush . I have a handful of larger size plush towels and I tend to use them more for drying when needed .

I use GG's WW Drying Towel.
Didn't feel soft right out of the bag but after washing it, it soften up quite a bit. This towel is very thirsty and works pretty well. Not to mention, this thing is pretty big.

Haven't tried the Cobra and I actually wanted it but I needed a drying towel right away and since Advance Auto carried the GG, got that instead.

I use the Mequires water magnet and works great. That is after the leaf blower blows off most of the water.

I've been using my Griot's Garage waffle weave drying towels for many years, added a new one about 2 years ago, love em:dblthumb2:

Adam's Great White. One towel can dry a whole mini van. It's amazing.
