Please recommend the best/safest Waffle Weave drying towel you have used.

Adam's Great White. One towel can dry a whole mini van. It's amazing.

In terms of drying, how much water is there to be dried on your car? Did you pool rinse prior to using the adams towel?

I was never too happy with the performance of waffle weaves, even after learning that you have to pre-dampen them.

Any one of these will completely dry my car:
1. DD Uber Drying/CG Woolly Mammoth Dryer grey towel
2. CG Orange Fatty Dryer towel
3. PakShak Blue Tropics Mega Plush towel

I've tried a number of different WW MF's over the years and always went back to a large one from neatitems.com, but a few months ago a friend of my brother sold his car and gave me all his detailing products--one of which was a Megs Water Magnet. What a great towel--very, very soft and absorbant but since it's smaller than most drying towels I use 2 which even works out better than one large towel.

Some great feedback. I hear a lot of users say to pre wet the towel with warm water then ring out prior to using the towel for drying (I will pool rinse first of course). How many employ that method?

Yeah, but it was a strip wash so not much pooled off.

The Mothers foam core is a really nice towel. You can use it using the blotting method so no minimal chance of marring and absorbs a lot of water a normal waffle weave does not.

Microfiber Madness Dry Me Crazy (the grammage is 1200g/m²). It is the best MF drying towel I have ever used (it is not WW, though...)

The key is a slow arm speed. I think a lot of folks assume it's going to act like a vaccum and suck the water off the car. It can, but you need to use slow arm speed to allow the water to penetrate and be absorbed by the towel. I've slowed mine down using my Guzzler and I'm noticing the towel's true performance.
