So today I got to do a side by side comparison of Poli-Seal and XMT 360.It was on my Black 2000 Toyota Corolla. The vehicle was stripped of others waxes, clayed and polished out with Meguiar's Ultimate Compound which left the finish smooth and LSP ready.

Being that the finish was already LSP ready did not allow for a full test of both AOI's capabilities, however it did allow me get a feel of how each one behaved as being work into the paint. Both were easy to work with no dusting issues and did a good job of mostly "disappearing" into the finish.

The final wipe of each was minimal and effortless, both leaving behing a silky smooth glossy appearance.I have to admit as tested the was no noticeable difference how they behaved, looked or felt to me.

I would have no problem going to either of these two AOI's in the future.

Opinion on pad dependence?

I'm not sure of the context of you question. If you asking how pad dependent each is ,I cannot answer that as I was not really testing them for cut at this point.Mainly trying to gauge their "feel" while working and the look and slickness of the finish left behind.Basically my point was that I'm pleased with the initial impression of both, and that either seems to be a good choice as far as workability, looks and feel of finish.I apologize if this does not give others much "to go on"

10-04 thank you hand. I think that if you use as a true AOI your results may differ, especially on a neglected d/d. My opinion.

I just used Poli-Seal tonight and I couldn't get it to remove some mild water marks. I was shocked as I heard it was great for stuff like this. I first used a white pad on my griot's 3" DA and then stepped up to an orange pad and the water marks remained. Of course gloss and slickness was nice but I expected more correction ability. I've used the XMT 360 once before and was more impressed by its cutting ability. I think I'll just stick with the XMT from here on out in the AIO category.
