I just got mine the other day. I'm going to be useing it on a car next week. I wanted to know what its like to work with. Is it more like putting on a wax or am I going to have to work it like a polish?

Random question: The car I'm doing has decals. Never had a car with them before. Should I tap them off so I dont get stuff on them? Stay away from them or is it ok to wax over them?

Thanks a lot for all the help.

From what I understand its more like Klasse AIO but "beefier"... in that it has more swirl removal power (is an actual polish) plus leaves an appreciable amount of synthetic protection behind.

So you'd want to use it like a polish.

I've always just polished and waxed over the ones on my truck. No problems at all.

Thanks a lot guys. I was looking at the bottle. One of the ingredients is mineral sprirts. The same stuff I use to strip paint off things. Does that worry anyone? Also it list carnauba as an ingredient so I guess the sealent ability of the Poli-seal in carnauba based.

The mineral spirit content is very low. I believe it is used as a cleaner. I'm never worried about anything that Optimum puts out. It has been tested for months and tweaked well before releasing it. They use carnauba as filler and for protection as well.

Justin..with the caranuba content..do you think it will cause any problems using a sealant on top of it...I know something like PB's PWC will not hold a polymer sealant...I will go on..but a few weeks later..the paint is so grabby...most polymers can not bond correctly to caranuba due to the organic properties of wax...

can it be topped with an acrylic sealant like Werkstatt's Acrylic Jett? Or just top it with a Carnuba Wax?

Well, I've already seen 1 month worth of protection from it alone and others have seen 4. I would not top it with sealant. You're right about a sealant and carnauba clashing. I would top it with a high quality carnauba like Max Wax or just leave it be.

OK I'm sold. Had some free time on Sunday and could not leave new detailing products unused. I'm really surprized at how good of a job it did of removing defects. I used it on my black DD. Its been 6 months since any type of polish. I wash it very carfully but a lot of minnor swirls showed up over that time. The Poli-seal did a great job of taking care of them. It also works in very fast. Much faster than a normal polish. The Poli-seal also left a very nice slick surface behind. Off to go top it with some #26......

How often can it be used? would it be safe to use it once a month?

I would see no problem at all with doing it like that. It's good for up to 3 months though.

Yes, Poli-seal is like a carnauba cleaner wax. I would not top it off with a sealant. But a good carnauba wax is just fine!

is there a smaller size than the 32 oz? $19.99 for a 32 oz bottle is a great price but what if i dont like it?

I think you can order a 4oz sample from their website directly. I'm not sure though.
