Polish and Cermic coating suggestions

So my go to waxes have been Maguiar's swirl remover and ultimate wax. I have a new truck and I'm considering Maguiar's ceramic. The color is Granite Crystal (metallic grey).

What should I do before applying? Swirl remover or some other polishing product? It doesn't look like really needs it.

Based on what I've read and videos, the spray product appears to work better. I just have a hard time wrapping my head around counting on water spray to properly coat the entire truck.

Which ceramic? Meguiar's has hybrid ceramic wax, hybrid ceramic liquid wax, M27 ceramic sealant and the hybrid paint coating.

So I'm actually looking looking for advice on which Maguiar's ceramic I should use. Or which works best in which application. I'm OK with applying with my DA. I would like to get 6 months of protection if possible.
