I will dial in a process as far as pads machine and speed setting.I used the coating on my personal car only.If it can hold up for 4 to 6 months I will be happy, because I didn't even break a sweat applying 2 coats.Sorry to say I'm a tunnel wash guy.17.00 a little marring and done in 10 minutes.I do this all week for a living and the last thing I want to do on a Sunday morning is wash a car.

Just did the Viking Coat and Escalate on my car using a 7424 with no issues. I did buy the Polish Angel pads as well. Stuff went on fantastic definitely will do my other personal vehicle.

I did a ford raptor today full detail. My intial plan was to try the escalate and coating.I polished the whole left side, then pulled it out of the sun to see if this is something unique about this product.Saw no difference and went back to 205 then Gyeon can coat. This maybe a product line for boutique polishes and etc.The coating application they are dead on with that as far as application and removal. The end of result is that it's a product to be used on a new car.so all in all its not a toss in the garbage product.I just don't think it warrants the high price.

I have a Flex and 7424. Should I use the 7424?

You could try it with the flex. I am far from an expert/pro but I couldn't make the Flex work with the Escalate. I think I wasted more product trying different pad/speed/pressure combos with the Flex than I used to actually polish the truck with the Rupes Mini. Only way to know for sure how it'll work for you is try it. I would go for a polishing or finishing pad and a slow speed setting and see how that works. If you can run the same pads on your PC, you could just swap them between machines and compare the results.

I think your better off with a da.The flex will make that product flash real quick.

Requesting an update on durability of the viking coat! How is it holding out so far gentleman?

I am very happy with the Polish Angel Viking coat. Been on the car for about 7 months now. Finally got some cold weather with lots of snow. Brine and Salt mix on the roads. I have been able to rinse off the car with a pressure washer, and it still beads and shines like the day I put it on. 60 days till spring. Awesome product to say the least.

Was able to give the car a quick wash with the power washer and warm water. Still acting hydrophobic, attempted to flood the panels to avoid beading and freezing. About 9 months now still holding up pretty well. First wash in a couple weeks. There is a bit of grit stuck on the flat surfaces nothing clay won't remove. Polish Angel Viking Coat.

Took advantage of the long holiday weekend and got some detailing done. I polished the truck first with PA Escalate and then followed that up with the Viking Coat. At the start I was having a terrible time with the Escalate. It did NOT play well with the Flex 3401. I tried both a white and black hybrid pad, using more product and less product, heavy and light pressure, faster and slower speed and nothing was working. The finish was always hazy and looked way worse than what I hadn't polished. After messing with this for about an hour, I was seriously considering ditching the Escalate and just using something to strip the LSP and applying the Viking Coat. Then I decided to try the Rupes Mini and it was unbelievably better. The Mini with a yellow Rupes pad worked awesome with the Escalate. It quickly removed some minor swirl marks and the finish was incredible. The Viking coat was a breeze to apply and remove and I am more than pleased with the results. Obviously longevity is unknown at this point, but if it at least holds up through the winter I'll be happy. I don't have any before pics, the paint was in really good condition with just some light swirls, but the gloss and clarity is much greater after the polish and coating. I am really happy with how it turned out!! Pics don't do it justice.
