Polish Angel Esclate and Viking Coat

IMO Polish Angel carries some of the best products...period. I have most everything they carry with the exception of their coating products.

They have an excellent liquid wax as well as spray waxes too. Their paste wax is expensive, however, is one of the best.

I am very happy PBMG carries their product brands. It wouldbe nice to see it on the AGO website too.

Either way excellent review and love their products.

finished it up today, needed to polish the front bumper area and seal the black trim and vacuum inside.

wolfgang trim sealant:
This stuff lasted almost three months when i applied it in late february and it was pretty rainy in spring, so all in all pretty good stuff. I'll be interested to see how long it last over the less rainy winter months.

nice !!!!

Thanks for all the great comments. I plan on trying the polishes at some point, but I'm still a huge 3D HD fan too. :dblthumb2:

My favorite pic is the driveway one where it's parked in the shade. Lots of gloss with low natural lighting.

custmsprty, you said you used very little of the VC, the bottle's tiny so how many cars would you estimate you could get out of it? I've read people getting 3 cars out of the 50ml bottle of Cquartz so I'm guessing it's about the same? I have VC in my cart but am stuck deciding between that or CQ. Interesting that you applied it with a DA too.

If anyone else with knowledge of VC wants to chime in, feel free :) I want to order by tomorrow so hopefully I can have it by the weekend :D

Thanks, yeah it really shows the gloss.
This time of the year down here the sun is low in the southern sky so my front driveway facing north gets little sun. It was nice because I could do the entire job outside. Never happen in the summer.

custmsprty, I have a stupid question. I got my 1st DA yesterday and have both these products and am all amped to do my my car. Did you prime your pad like you normally do? Seems like with VC there's not much so I'm not sure if I should prime it, or prime it the same at least. I have Blackfire pad conditioner I was planning to use, but am curious about if additional priming with the product is still a good idea.

Excellent Review! I use Escalate lotion for the pre-wax cleaning. IMO Polish Angel carries the best products around. Their Compound/Polish is very user friendly.

I love their Spray waxes too. They have a great liquid wax and I do have one of their discontinued paste waxes. I have not used their coat system, however, glad to see you like it.

Again, stellar review and great work!

Really wanna try out Polish angel, but too much $$$$ for me :(

Apparently they located close to D.C.
I shall visit them when I go up there! URGG

I wanna try it so bad!!

Take a look at the first page, I posted my pads for both products. That was the last bit I used on each pad after both products. The VC builds up quickly and saturates the pad. Do not prime the pad. I put little beads and flattened them out with the tip. I barely dented either bottle. I could easily do at least 5 mores cars with the VC and probably 8 with the Esclate.

PS I always use a 4" pad to apply LSP's and did so when too I had a PC. That blue pad is 4" LC pad.

Thanks Kam.

The VC is so easy to use it's effortless (which to me means mindless) I like easy to work with products.

I have their spray duster and rapiddwaxx too, love them too.

This is the PA Master Sealant on my wife's Sonata, it's also an excellent product and super user friendly.

Feels like temp today 104-106 degrees, humidity off the richter scale, dew point 77 degrees. Daily lightning, thunder storms etc. I'm officially retired for the summer time. No washing, no waxing, no detailing LOL. So based upon that it seems to be holding up well. :updated:

Believe me, I can sympathize with ya....

For some reason, can't be sure, but it seemingly got hotter and more humid quicker this year.

Yep I can relate to that....here in NC it's been down right miserable!!!!! The bad thing is I have to work in this crap day in and day out and no stinking shade on this job😠

Nice review, I'm really about to start doing coatings because I know that's where the money is now days I really just need to educate myself more. I have never laid a coating down before They need to make a step by step video or photo topic and then I'll test it on my car and my girl friends. Once I feel comfortable doing the procedure I'll add this to our Business as a service.

Check out Autopia for more reviews of Polish Angel products. It's good to see it gets mentioned here on AG. PA is high quality and easy to work with.
