Polish Angel Glasscoat Cosmic (Quick Take)

Well my take was incorrect as I placed an order for 500mL of Polish Angel High Gloss with PolishAngel.us but it was shipped directly from Germany. Not sure if that happens for all products or all sizes of products and not sure if they truly mix it after ordering but if they are shipping from Germany, it is definitely possible. Looking forward to trying it.

There used to be a person handling PolishAngel.us but the went away for some reason. All my products came from Germany as well.

Even here in Sweden which is not long from Germany. Some products and it looks like it's the once that has expirering dates usually. It's a couple of days to get. Then I don't think that they just make the product just for you. They have it so they can tap it from day to day. So they now that the batch is fresh from what they are shipping out. And so you don't get a bottle that's been sitting on shelf for 2-3 years. It's hard here in the domestic shop when they have sales. The carnuaba arts products is directly claimed as 7-10 delivery time and some other products to. I have gotten Carpro products where they have the production date on the bottom of the bottle. That has been over 1 year old. If it's something like Reload och Ech2o it's shelf life is 2 year. And I think of other products that has been out for a long while. Is it still good to use. Especially since ceramic products came. When I started with detailing for 6 years ago on do more than just washing and don't think about swirling up the paint. I got me some Ultima products. And actually you can still buy some. But they are from 5-6 years ago still. As it's the old version of all of them and I have never seen a new verison that you have in the US here in Sweden LOL. They are often on sale and many sizes and products are gone. But you wonder if it's okay to use them still if you bought them. The old Trim Protectant with the harsher liquid in it I think it's some kind of petroleum. I can still buy here LOL

I love PA High Gloss and Esclate Lotion/Master Sealant combo. Will use PA High Gloss after the next wash to compare to the Angelwax Atomic QED graphene quick detailer on how it looks on my car AW Atomic QED has been impresive on the looks and is easier to use than both AW QED and AW Enigma QED which I have them all.

I have only used Kami OCv1 but I feel OC performs a little bit better in water behavior and PACS looks better.

I would agree, both great products but kami is slightly better.

In my weather I prefer Cosmic. Although OC had slightly better water behavior, Cosmics look was far superior.

OC v4 may be a lot better or worse. I’ll buy it eventually.

waiting a month to put on a second coat will it still bond? cosmic primer spritz then coat #1 wait about a month cosmic primer spritz then coat #2. Is this a problem? Do I need a 3rd coat after #2?
I would e-mail them if I had your concerns

I always apply two coats and follow the directions

I read all that prior to application. I have left over glasscoating and want to use it but if its not going to bond I am not going to waste my time. The other issue is do I need to use primer spritz before additional coats. I have never seen any discussions other than start the whole process over again strip off old etc. etc.

I’d skip the primer spritz

the spritz is just for the 1st application?

Yeah it’s to prime the paint for the Cosmic to adhere. It would probably remove 1st layer. Cosmic has no problem sticking to Cosmic.

how do you find the longevity of cosmic? how does it compare to others in longevity like Kamikaze Overcoat? Lastly, can I use cosmic and overcoat on the same vehicle?[h=1][/h]

I find both to be around 3 months max for my liking. Both are still there and working but for coating like beading and self cleaning around 2 months.

I use both sometimes. Does it work I couldn’t tell you for sure.
Some will say no problem it will layer.

Some will say the first layer will shed the second layer like contamination.

Some will say the second layers solvents will remove the 1st.

I couldn’t tell you which one is right as I believe when I read these opinions most seemed to make sense.

I can tell you that I like the look I got on MY car at the time of Cosmic on top of OverCoat (BP1 wife’s also likes this combo)
