Polish Angel Gurus...

This is Polish Angel Centurion as base LSP maintained with Black Wulfenite. I've used over a dozen different products over the years on my GC and this is by far my favorite.

Rapidwaxx is good. Black Wulfenite is a personal Top 3-5 favorite spray. I would compare Rapidwaxx as a poor man’s version of Wulfenite or Gold Zirkon. It has that PA silky-smooth look... mix of sharp ceramic with carnauba (probably my favorite look as I mentioned in my ceramic wax thread). But Wulfenite and Zirkon are the step above where people on the street stop you to say how great your car looks. Wulfenite is my wife’s favorite on her solid black paint, and she’s seen a TON of different things on that paint. So rich.

Anyways, Rapidwaxx is still very nice, particularly as a topper. I’ve even put it on Collinite 476 and it stepped the gloss up significantly.

In terms of PA dollars, it’s an absolute bargain for anyone looking to try the brand.

Have you tried gold zirkon on black? Thoughts?

Yes, very close to Wulfenite but not as rich. I think Gold Zirkon is brighter and looks best on metallic, lighter colors. But should prolly try it on metallic black Bimmer to see how it does.

Response from PA regarding V2 on the USA site:

Robert,
- V2 will are still produced for professional and used customers and can ordered via store if your using search field.
- V1 have to be manually ordered via e-mail.

With best regards,

Daniel“

I know exactly what you mean about having a substantial LSP coat underneath. I also have two German “nice” cars and my old, beater TSX which gets lesser treatment. I understand why you are being so thorough about deciding on what to pamper the two with. The truth is, you can’t go wrong with any of the now four combos you are considering, and it seems longevity from a luxury combo is what you’re looking for. If you don’t care about applying sprays every so often since they are so quick and easy, that will help. If you go the Master Sealant route, I would seriously consider applying the MS twice per year though. I don’t think you would NEED any prep during the second application.. just slap it on over the older MS/RW at 6 months or when needed.
Love this post, because you understood me 100%.
Thanks bro

Hi guys, i really like PA has well. V2 exceeded my expectations!

What can you tell me about Famous/Carnaubaflockencreme? I was going to put 2 coats on a family members car and top up with rapidwaxx every 2-3mths.

I will also be using a medium polish - sonax PF

What do you guys think of using gyeon primer after using sonax PF? For a 2 step.

Hi again folks, i applied 2 coats of V2 and one coat of High Gloss in June.

Do you think its a waste of V2 if i apply another coat in October or November for the winter mths? Or should i just put the rest of my V2 on another car?

Thanks!

Where are you located again? Is the car a dd? Garaged at all? You don’t have Cosmic Spritz, correct?

I'm in Newfoundland Canada. Northeast coast. It sits outside 24/7 but i work away on an icebreaker - vessel - so its parked for 5-6mths per year outside. I put around 5000 to 7000 miles on the car per year.

No i don't have cosmic spritz just high gloss.

I see, I assume it’s not being driven during icebreaker season, i.e. winter main. If it won’t be driven this winter much, I would think you could hold out until next spring or use on another vehicle. But if you wish to use it this fall, I can’t see why it would cause any issues if you do a bit of prep prior (Iron-X, wipe down).

Hey fellow Canadian!

Acura is correct, Iron X the car and then re-apply. I don't know how much salt they use in Newfoundland but I know here in Ontario, nothing in the PA line will survive the salt. Just from personal experience. The best thing to do IF you were to drive this thing outside is to re-apply every month or so for the salt. You know, if you can. Might be too frozen other wise.

Thanks WillSports3. Have you found anything that will last over the winter months?

There's too many to name to be honest.

LOL yeah i assume they are all full fledged coatings. I have a unopened bottle of CQUK, probably use that next spring and maybe cosmic spritz or IGL premier for a maintenance topper. 12-18mths is my personal preference.

I still hope V2 lasts around 12mths. Honestly, in my area of newfoundland - southern - we don't get a ton of snow.

Just curious have you ever used Tacsystem top coat 2.0?

Not necessarily just coatings. Don't kid yourself, a lot of full fledged coatings don't make it past winter at all lol.
I can't say I've ever used Tacsystem products. To be honest, I just don't really trust them.

Hi again acura, is there something special about Iron-X? I've used a few iron removers now but i have never seen it change colour.. Sonax and Carpro Trix.

I think as long as you’re using any good iron remover to ensure that above surface contamination does not exist, then you’re helping the new application. So whatever you’re using, I would say keep it.

If you did it recently and you don’t think there will be any signs of color change due to negligible contaminants, I guess you could skip? But I’ll also defer to coating experts for their insight.
