Polish Line for Beginner

What line of polishes would you recommend for someone just starting out with the PC?? I was thinking of the Pinnacle XMT line because they seem to be PC friendly and are very simply labeled (1, 2, 3 & 4) according to degree of abraisiveness. Wonder why more companies don't simply do that?? Also, you can buy the entire set at a pretty good price.

I was also looking at the Optimum line. They seem to be very highly reccommended. They seem to have three degrees of polish - aggressive, medium and finish - which makes it pretty easy.

It really doesn't matter. I would get either menzerna or megs.
 
For a beginnner, I had heard the Menzerna line can be a little tricky. I have also read that it's better suited for a rotary. Is that not true?

One thing that steered me away from them is that I think they have TOO MANY choices. Megs does as well to a certain degree. Menzera's line is also a little confusing in terms of degrees of polish. They have FIVE products just for finishing!! A little overwhelming for a guy who's just getting started....
 
I would get megs M105, menzerna power finish 203, menzerna 106FA and maybe some menzerna 85RD. Then get 3 of each pad.
 
:whs: I'm still trying to learn how to use the M105, but the Menz polishes that I've tried so far (Power Finish, 106FA) have been very user-friendly and have produced excellent results.
 
Menzerna SIP and Nano or PowerFINISH ... easy to use, forum favorites and best of all they get the job done even with PC. (just use smaller pads for best results)
 
Scott - You say smaller pads. i.e. 5.5? Smaller? Even for a beginner?

Saw the VIP Special for the XMT line. Seems that everyone suggests exactly what you just mentioned, though. (Menz SIP/Nano)
