With this crappy weather I had to detail something. Came out great and can't wait to put them on!

Machine: PC
Pads: LC CCS White Polish 4 inch and Hydro Tech Blue Cutting pad
Towels: Costco Yellow
HD Metal Polish / HD Adapt

As they arrived:

On a whim I tried HD Adapt with a LC Hydro Tech Blue Cutting pad, look at the difference!

Now I did not try the HD Metal with a cutting pad, only a polishing pad. Overall I thought HD Metal did a great job, but Adapt took it to another level.

Very well done, I've liked your work.

Thanks for sharing,

Kind Regards.

Very cool!

You've inspired me to do the same as I've got a few axle backs in the storage that need some love. Thank you for the inspiration!

Thanx guys!

I am losing my mind with this weather and needed to detail something! Now I got some bling for the cars that get to look at my Shelby's tail lights.......lol

In the last 2 pics you can see the pads I used and how black they got. Very impressed with these HD products so far. I think I am going to top with a few coats of 476s. I know it will burn off, but I need to satisfy my detailing addiction.

Looks okay, but you can get the finish like a mirror if you wanted too

Wow that looks great. This wasn't a planned project, more spur of the moment playing around with some new products while stuck in the house. I wanted to see how the products would perform.

After seeing that write up I might go out and get some sandpaper and redo them.
