i just got the pc 7424xp and other products. scrath remover, pre-wax cleaner,finishing polish,sealer/glaze. after wash and clay bar which is the best order to use these? thanks for the help. meguires scratch rem.,mothers pre-wax cleaner and sealer /glaze, pinnacle advanced finishing polish,souveran wax

A little more info would help, what are the specific products that you bought?

Scratch remover first starting with a white pad, assuming you bought LC CCS pads, if swirls are still apparent move up to the orange pad, buff at a setting of 5. Follow up with AFP on a white pad at 5. While it is not necessary to use the cleaner, as the AFP should give you an LSP (Last Step Product) ready finish, you can surely use it since you have it prior to applying your sealant/glaze. Using the blue pad, apply the sealant at 4, allow to dry to a haze and buff off. Allow the sealant to cure for at least 12 hours, do not get it wet at any time during this period. Then top it off with the Souveran either by hand of using a blue pad at 4.

First, here's a few time saving tips that everyone learns when they're new to machine polishing.

1. Never turn the polisher on until the face of the buffing pad is in contact with the surface of the paint.

2. Never lift the buffing pad off the surface until you have turned the polisher off.

If you do either of the above, especially if you lift the buffing pad off the surface before the pad slows down after you’ve been buffing for a while and your pad is now wet with product, you’ll throw product splatter all over the car as well as yourself and anyone and anything nearby.
