Polisher question

I'm thinking about getting the DA polisher from HF (Harbor Freight) but I have a question.

I am reading this post by Mark VP:

And he says to get the 5 inch but they don't sell the 5 inch anymore they sell a 6 inch one.

So this might be a dumb question but since it's a 6 inch polisher I have to get 6 inch pads and a 6 inch backing plate right?

I sometimes use the HF DA. It comes with a 6" plate. Just buy it then get a new backing plate of any size up to 6" you want to run with. That's what I did. You are not locked in to using a 6" plate just because it's sold as a 6".
