Polishes, Waxes, Sealants hand vs machine

Are there polishes, paint sealants, and waxes that work best by hand and others that work best on machine. Currently, I am doing everything with "elbow grease"- looking forward to getting my Porter 7424 for Christmas. I am using Klasse All in One polish, Wolfgang 3.0 Sealant, and Meguiar's carnuaba. It works for me and I know that the manufacturers make various claims; but are certain products work best for hand use and others for a Porter?
 
polishing by anything less than hand is ridiculous and very time consuming for such a little reward at best. Waxing and sealing however can be done by hand as it likely saves product and you can easily regulate how much to use. (remember the key is not to cake on waxes and sealants, light even coats)
 
Take it form someone who used to glaze and apply cleanser by hand. Killr meant anything less than a polisher for polishes is very tiring and time consuming. Im the MAN
 
I can't imagine doing anything except waxing by hand
 
A selant requires a very thin layer, most efficient application method is machine polsher and an ultrafine (very soft, i.e. LC CCS red or Gold) foam pad
 
Since you are in a position that you have to do the steps by hand the chemical type cleaners will work OK. A couple that come to mind are Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion, or PB Professional Polish.
 
correction ain't gonna occur by hand. something that is very rich in fillers can be applied by hand (like scratch-x, scratch-out, ummm, possibly some hand glazes, and as mentioned cleaner waxes, etc) to help knock down edges and/or fill, but you've really done nothing except made the same work for yourself later IMO.

you'll be in heaven with your 7424. you'll actually be able to perfect and correct with minimal labor.

but yeah, it's been said- wax, sealant...def ideal to apply by hand. you can get very precise application that way. Some people insist on using a machine to apply wax- i'll never understand that because it's so easy to just use your hand. the only instance i'd say is if you are somewhat high volume shop or something.

Klasse AIO isn't a true polish per say it's more of a chemical paint cleaner then anything else that works just fine by hand. WG & Megs wax *for me* would be used by hand also. If you plan on using these products only a machine is not really necessary imo. But if you plan on stepping up your game with true polishes then a machine is the only way to go. True polishes need heat to be broken down properly, your hand is not going to cut it.
 
So if Klasse AIO is a paint cleaner, then when would it be used or needed? Do you use it in conjunction before a polish, etc?

There are many many uses for KAIO; you would use it after a polish to remove any oils/left overs to ensure a clean surface. Anytime you want to try out a new wax or sealant then you use KAIO to stip the old stuff off.

I couldn't even imagine polishing by hand.:eek: Maybe a small spot, but after 3 shoulder surgeries. No way!
 
Paint correction CAN be done by hand, but why?!? Only thing I apply by hand is paste waxes and some sealants.
