Polishing a Rocket

You're work is always top notch, this one you did was no different:dblthumb2:

Love your detailing skills:dblthumb2:

My, what a very nice job indeed!

13 hrs. Man let me tell you... 'lightening fast' is an understatement.

What you did with that wagon is what..."It's all about"- Efficient and Exceptional.

A lot of respect for your work... A LOT.

Looks fantastic!! Nice photos too!
Thanks very much Zach! I was hoping with the new D7100 and some more research that I would be able to improve my game at taking shots. Got a long way to catch you buddy!!

Looks great! I'm usually not a fan of wagons but that styling along with the colors looks phenomenal! Great job and keep up the good work.
Thanks very much. It's about as mean as they come for a wagon, no doubt!

Amazing work! And a bad a** car:)
Thanks. Ya, I don't think you're gonna see one of those traded in by your local priest, LOL.

WOW! Beautiful job. 13 hours?! I'm shocked, I figured a few of days minimum
Thank you. I was shocked too at how quickly and easily this job was. Don't get me wrong: I was grateful!

Hot car, off topic, what are the bulbs you have in the four corners of the garage.

Thanks. I've got 4 of these bad boys:
105W CFL 6500K - COMPACT FLUORESCENT SUPER BRIGHT BULB
I love them. Great colour temp for showing defects and great overall bulb!

Wow! Awesome job in a very quick amount of time!

This has to be one of my favorite cars on the market right now. Just love me some supercharged v8 wagon.
No kidding man! I guess there wasn't a whole lot of these made in the "V" form.

Awesome detail!

Could you give us any information to the new Duragloss Trim Coating product your testing?

It seems you were the first guy to get a hold of Squeaky Clean some time ago and we still aren't able to order that except by calling up Duragloss directly, any chance this trim coating is going to be released into the market sometime soon? Is it a competitor to CarPro Dlux or more on the level of Ultima Tire and Trim Gel?
Thanks. Yes, I actually asked DG to make the SC for me and it turned out so well that eventually made it to market. The trim coating is still in testing phase. I would rank it in between UTTG and DLux. I've had it on my Lincoln and my wife's Durango for many months. I did a scratch repair on my old FX that I put it on in June and it was still going strong too. It's amazing stuff!

Fantastic job, as usual, Richy! That Caddy looks awesome!
Thank you very, very much!

Beautiful work Richy, that is one bad grocery getter. Did you have to do anything to the inside ? Thanks for posting as always. By the way the knockoff AG pads are amazing glad I bought 2.
Chris, I'm delighted you love them. I do too which is why I shared the info about them. Thanks for the feedback on that!
I did nothing on the inside other than the glass and a quick vacuum.

Beautiful work Richy! That is a bad ass rocket indeed.
Yes it is. We can all stop being jealous now, myself included, LOL. And thanks!!

Amazing job as usual. I love that color. Wish it had the center mount exhaust like the cts v coupe though.
Thanks very much! The 2 door V is one of the prettiest cars around, period. Love them to pieces!!

No interior shots? Did it have the saffron seat inserts? I wanted a wagon when I bought my coupe, but there weren't any available.
Sorry bud, I really didn't do much in there at all. Yes, they had that insert. The wheel felt different too.

That came out fantastic, great job.
Thank you kindly!

Looks great!
Thanks very much!

Great job. The CTS-V wagon is an awesone ride and that color looks sweet.
No kidding! Thanks for the kind words. You could tell the owner was very, very proud of it!

Great work Richy! Don't recall seeing one in that blue before and it looks amazing!!!

I am a little curious to hear what questions and expectations he had? :)
Thanks very much Chad....makes a beautiful car even more unique! I had a conversation with him and he knew the life expectancy of the coating, what it could and could not be put on, how to wash it , etc. He had really done his homework prior to calling. His expectation was for it to last 2 years and figured it would need to be polished again anyway just due to "life".

Now that is my kind of wagon!
Amen to that brother!

Beautiful job Richy !!!! Love that color !!
Thanks very much Pat. It's just too bad it wasn't a glorious sunny day to make that metallic paint just jump.

You're work is always top notch, this one you did was no different:dblthumb2:

Love your detailing skills:dblthumb2:
Thank you very much. I truly enjoy every job I do. I think that's an advantage to not doing it full time. You don't get complacent or bored with polishing paint. I am proud of every job I do and strive to knock it out of the park with every one.

My, what a very nice job indeed!

That's very, very kind...thanks so much! I don't know why this was so easy to tell you the truth...it just was! Not being full of defects certainly helped a ton!!

Serious work my friend!
Listen here my friend...we definitely have a mutual admiration society going! I love your work and always smile when I see you've posted something. It's like looking forward to a great meal, LOL.

Great looking ride there Richy! I'm a sucker for blue's like that, and that sucker is a sleeper for sure. ;) The wheels were darned near immaculate going in, (wish I could keep mine that clean, and I don't even DRIVE my car).

I can say one thing, for 13 hours dude you busted some hump!:dblthumb2: Nothing like the feeling of having an awesome job come in and out in the same day like that. What's the saying about loving it when a plan come's together? And THAT one my brother came together! :props:

Nice job, those CTS-V's are sweet rides...better think twice about messing with that wagon!

Great work richy. That color looks great with the body lines on the Vagon.

re: "Ummm. OK, so I went a bit crazy shooting this thing."

It's such a photogenic car, how could you resist! Nice photos and lots of different angles to appreciate it from. It doesn't seem to have a "bad angle."

It might just be an optical illusion or the lighting, but does that paint take on almost a satin or matte finish from some angles, while showing a deep gloss from others? (like in this shot for example http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t12/rhowitt/Detailing shots/Detailing shots001/DSC_2675.jpg )

Holy cow, this thing screams grocery getter, this is one fine tuned machine, i agree with SR99, this car is such a photogenic car!

Awesome job!

Man oh man, that is very kind. Thank you kindly! (Those rims really make it, don't they?)

That would be fun to spank some sports cars with for sure!! And, thanks!

Awesome, awesome, just ordered 6! Thanks man!
Great! Please let me know what you think of them! I've recommended them to a few of my buddies and they've all been very happy with them. Shoot me a PM when you get them pls.

I think it boils down to lighting. I have some powerful 105W 6500 colour temp CFL's in my garage that are 12" and 4" in diameter. They throw killer light (2 of them are above in that photo). It was overcast outside that day so I think that accounts for the difference in appearance.

Yes it is and thank you very much!
