Polishing Clearcoated Painted Wheels

Can the Meguiars Dynacone or the Mothers Mini Powerball be used with any polish to polish clearcoated painted wheels?

Yup use the same polish that you would use on paint

Then use a dedicated Wheel Sealant

I own and have used the mini often, on everything from wheels to exhaust tips to engine components, but just looking at the shape of the Dynacone makes me think that it might be the more versatile of the two. No complaints on the mini though, as it has held up well throughout the years.
