Polishing is back breaking

Rolling stool is mandatory in my opinion mobile or not. One with a small back rest might be nice as well. I've been using the harbor freight pneumatic adjustable seat with wheels for about 3 years and still running strong. It just takes so much less efforts to be sitting down relaxed than to be bending over all day holding a polisher. Save your back and buy the $20 seat!

Hey Frank, I too am short and the stand they posted is very helpful, I don't have one but do have access to one at my buddy's graphics shop. Another thing you could do is take an Alleve and get once of those pain patches and have your better half apply it on the small of your back before you get going, those 2 things are awesome but make sure you have food in your stomach, there you go, straight from Dr. Klasse:dblthumb2:

Do the rolling stools have a brake or wheel lock? My driveway is slanted.

For your problem with leaning over and getting a sore back, just try and focus on keeping your back straight. You most likely are arching your back a little and sticking your lower back out. I'm slightly over 6' and leaning over to get down to the hood on a Porsche or something low sometimes kills my back

My werner ap-20 has never failed me and I would have a need to upgrade, i can reach "most" all roofs and it's stable has heck.

Most don't but changing out a couple wheels with locks isn't difficult to do. Just put a towel down by the wheels and it won't roll down the slope.
