Polishing micro scratches by DA? A game console refurb.

Lots of micro scratches on this Xbox 360. I have a few five polishes (210, megs MF kit, ultimate polish) and a few finishing pads. I’d like to polish these out before giving it to my daughter for her bday.

anyone ever tried something like this with a DA before? I have tried 210 by hand but no real change.

I think someone posted doing something similar in the past using a Rupes Nano. Results were pretty good, his console was black.

Polish that sucker up!

Just like on paint, start with your least aggressive setup you have. If using your DA, start slow and don't dwell on an area too long. (don't know how 'thick' the surface is you are working on)
