I'm selling one of my old cars and want to polish up the wheels first.
I'm still pretty inexperienced with wheel types and polishing, but I've done some research and am posting here to confirm that there aren't any obvious issues with my plan of action.
Thank you for your time and knowledge.
The wheels are "Konig Incident" Graphite w/Machined Face.
After cleaning and clay bar, I plan to use Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish on a White 5.5" pad with my PC 7424XP on the face of the spokes. Followed by M205 on a Mother's Powerball for the inside of the spokes and possibly the center caps/emblems. Then coating the wheels with McKee's 37 Wheel Coating.
My choice of polish is based off the assumption that the "Machined Face" is a bare Aluminum-Alloy, and the "Graphite" is paint.
Do you see any problems with this? Should I wait for my 3" Rotary pads to arrive before doing the face of the wheel? Or use the Mother's Powerball on the whole thing? Or will my PC with 5.5" pads be fine?
