Ok so if there is a little paint transfer on a side view mirror, and I go to polish/wax the car with an AIO, will the paint transfer come off in the polishing or should I go at it specifically and before I go to do the whole car?

I'd see if clay takes it off first. I assume you're already planning on claying since you're going to polish the car?

Try it. If it comes off with the AIO then you're home free. If it doesn't then I'd go at it with a solvent like lacquer thinner next. And finally if all else fails, then a compound or polish by hand.

I will get a pic tomorrow. It's just a little mark of blue on the driver side mirror. I tried WD40 and it didn't do anything. I am afraid to try lacquer thinner. I am also afraid that if I go over it with AIO it will smear it all over and make it worse.

Are these mirrors 'smooth' or 'bumpy'?

If smooth, almost any 'cleaner wax' should remove the transfer.

If not smooth...keep trying different products. Starting with the LEAST aggressive/"hot" first. Be gentle, you don't want to smooth out the offending area.

from my experience if thinner doesn't get polishing won't .
