Polishing question.

Lets say you did your test spot and decided blackfire one step was going to work great. You polish the entire car and find one small area that could some more aggressive correction.Could you switch the pad and product for that one area and then go over it with the one step?

Yes. That will work just fine.

Often on my one step packages, I will initially go around the vehicle doing some spot correction with a 3inch polisher using a cutting pad and a compound on some rids. Then I just buzz over the vehicle with One step.

Like already stated, the answer is "yes".

Truth be known.... sometimes I use the BF One Step as a COMPOUND with a foam or even wool pad for the correction step and the simply re-polish using a foam polishing pad for the finishing and sealing step.



Why use it as a compound instead of an actual compound?

Because I'm lazy.


It (the BF One Step), doesn't care how you apply it or what you apply it to, it simple works great and unlike a LOT of compounds, it wipes off so easy. So yeah, the lazy part in me, (that's most of me), will use the BF One Step as a compound instead of compound just for the easy wipe-off aspect.
