Boy am I ever excited about this project I just landed!! It's a 1936 Morgan 4/4 which is the very first year Morgan made 4 wheel cars. Yes, you read that right. Prior to that they produced 3 wheeled cars.
This particular model has just been restored and will be going to auction. The fenders have been painted a few weeks ago and the centre of the body (hood, cowl, rear centre) is raw aluminum. It finger prints if you touch it and needs polishing out. The owner had taken 0000 steel wool to it. He also got steel wool dust all over the painted fenders too. I need to remove them without damage as well.
What are your suggestions for tackling this raw aluminum? I'm thinking my Tuff Buff black wool pad and M105 followed by M205 and a white pad (B & S pads). I will be sealing the aluminum with Permanon. I will be working on this project this weekend.
The first thing I'm going to try to remove the steel wool dust will be my new Master Blaster. What a cool car to pop its cherry on, LOL.
