Before my project this weekend (whatever vehicle it be), I was hopeing to find out whether or not I can use the PC to do the same treatment to the glass. I don't think XMT #2 will be necessary, but, what about XMT#1.

Also, can it be used on the plastic headlight covers, or is it to harsh?

Is there anything else I should consider?

I've used the XMT 1 on the headlights with no ill effects, but I usually just hit them while I'm polishing the hood. I haven't used it on the glass though so I can't comment on that one from experience. But I have used the DP glass restorer with the PC and I liked the results. :)

There are special products for glass polishing, its better to use them instead of XMTs.

Get some DP Glass Restorer, amazing stuff, suprised the hell out of me, it just straight works, no b.s., I used the 3m headlight combo that AG carries, works well, but I think the Wolfgang headlight kit works better. Also alot of people use the mothers power ball with great results.
